Oksana Mukha. About the Company
It was the late 80's, the Soviet Union was about to break up and it was a difficult time for a young brides. So just a few days before her wedding Oksana Mukha fully intended to wear a simple business suit to her own wedding. But at the encouragement of her future husband Vasyl, Oksana (a fashion design graduate of the Lviv Academy of Art) changed her mind and in one night made her own dress. The overwhelming positive reaction to this dress and convinced Oksana Mukha and her husband that there was a opportunity here--to help young brides in Lviv find their own dress for the most celebrated day of their lives.
So in 1991 Oksana Mukha began sewing dresses in her apartment, where she lived with her family Beginning with the Lviv and Ukrainian markets, the Company began to win markets in Russia and the countries of Western Europe.
With time the Company grew into a family business with all members participating in its development. Today Oksana Mukha's daughter Katya is the official face of the Company.
From a modest beginning sewing dresses in her apartment, to seeing her Swarovski-bejeweled Crystal Swan on display at "Carrousel du Louvre” in Paris, Oksana Mukha has traveled a long and difficult road. She is thankful most of all to God, her team and her customers and partners and looks forward to many fruitful years of cooperation in the future.
